Liu Gang is a contemporary Chinese artist born in Hebei province and currently based in Shanghai. He received his education from the Art Department of East China Normal University.

Liu Gang's artistic career spans over three decades, with his first recorded exhibition dating back to 1992. He has held numerous solo exhibitions, showcasing his work in prestigious venues.
